| At Takotna Community School we use Stop Motion Pro to improve the students' knowledge and use of technology. |
To build skills in language arts in the areas of story telling, sequencing, understanding movement and the connection to forming words, collaborative education--working together and all the connections it makes to art and art projects. This work also uses math in creating scale, timing, synchronizing movement and sound and working in all areas of production.
The students enjoy creating ideas that entertain and teach. They like to show their work to everyone that comes to the school. Showing projects and the progress of ideas is a weekly occurrence.
The students are using the program for claymation and real life projects--time lapse of creating figures for Stop Motion Pro and time lapse of doing school work.
Video Production has been highly enhanced by this program and the creativity of the students has exponentially increased. The students are experimenting with what they can do not only with the program, but also how they can animate and create movement in their creations for use with the program.
We are a small school with 14 students in grades 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. They all work together with age having nothing to do with the sharing of ideas and projects they come up with.
