Importing still images and movies |
It is possible to import still images (BMP, TIF, TGA and JPG) and movies (AVI) into Stop Motion Pro. This is useful if you have a camera that does not have remote capture software or already have some animation filmed that you want to bring into Stop Motion Pro.
How to import still images and movies:
Create a New project in Stop Motion Pro. From the Capture settings dialog, select No capture type. Set the height and width of the images you are adding. |
Import images:
Go to File|Import individual files. Use the browse button to select the files you wish to import. Holding Ctr or Shift and clicking selects multiple files.
Click OK
Movies (AVI) files:
Go to File|Import AVI file and select the appropriate file. |
If multiple still images have been imported the Reorder Import Files dialog is shown. If required it is possible to reorder the images. This can also be done later Using the Stop Motion Pro Editor. Make any changes and click OK. |
Your files will be imported and ready to preview. While the live, capture and onionskinning modes are inactive, it is possible to use the editor to organise frames and modify timing. Audio sync, rotoscope and overlays function in this mode. |
